Canada wins their third game for a record of 3-0-0. Russia, 1-1-0 plays Slovakia, 0-2-0 tomorrow to see who will play who in the quarter finals. The US team is sitting at 1-2-0. It looks like they will most likely meet the Russians at the quarter finals and Canada will face Slovakia. Good luck to everyone in the North American pool.

In the European pool, Finland, 2-0-1 will be meeting the Czech Republic, 1-2-0 and Sweden, 2-0-1 will face Germany, 0-3-0. Good luck!!!!

I love this hockey crap!! I hope the NHL has a season this year!! What will I do on Saturday nights without my Hockey Night in Canada???

haha.........sorry dudes, but I live in Canada and hockey is an everyday discussion, (at least where I am). And this may be the only hockey we get for a while.
GB there IS an NHL season every year, however this year the collective agreement expires, (Sept. 15) and now the NHL and the Players association are arguing. Mostly over money, but there are other issues. If it can't be resolved, the players may walk out OR the owners could lock the players out. I hope they can come to an agreement because the following hockey has would lose some of it's momentum. (And I would dearly miss watching the games). Right now, it does NOT look good.

Oh no... *pat pat* Actually in Singapore there was recently some argument between our cable TV channel and ESPN, so a number of live matches were not broadcasted. But it's been settled. Hope the crap going on about the NHL gets settled too.
