| | | Happy Birthday, 'my ass'!! Yippie skippy.
I got b-day cards from Dad, Mom, and Grandpa on my birthday. I am so thankful that they took the time to acknowledge my birthday and I'm personally expressing my gratitude.
However.... no one else (out of dozens and dozens of friends and family who know my birthday) bothered to even call.
Oh, my wife suggested I take the day off from work...... so I did. The day consisted of me alone caring for our son (who I love and cherish dearly) all day and night, just so she could camp out on the internet ALL ****ING DAY AND NIGHT. Birthday card? Birthday present? Birthday sex?
Nope. Not a ****ing thing.

| | | I don't expect a happy birthday from friends/coworkers unless I remind them about it for days right before. | |

raverboy Exactly. Unless it's a 'landmark' birthday (21, MAYBE 25, and then the decade years after that . . . 30, 40, 50, etc) | |

| | | your birthday parties are only as good and you make them. the more money you spend, the more people will attend.

| | | well actually i think when you have more money, you can through bigger parties. thus you can have more of everything, and better liquor. people don't like to drink cheap crap that tastes like ass. they want to have a wide selections where they can choose their drinks.
