| | | Anybody know of any good boot brands? I'm interested in pickin' up some TUK Grinders, I heard they're really good quality, but not sure $150 is worth it. I hear iffy things about DM's which go for about the same price. I tend to fall within the $75-$100 range with most of my boots, any suggestions?

| | Tims and the boots I'm lookin' for are two very different styles of boot. Plus from what I've experienced so far, Altama is my boot of choice (lead supplier in military footwear).
I bought these jungles goin' over 3 years ago, wearin' them right now and they're still in good condition, and I don't baby my boots, these have been through rain, snow, mud, rivers, ocean, basically everything but a tornado or hurricane, not to mention the normal day to day wear. Most people I see wearin' Timberlands carry an eraser in their pocket...that's not that kind of boot I'm lookin' for.

| | | i see, didnt realize you were in the military. lol, as for me, i weatherproof my boots so they always look fresh, except for scratches (which i get sometimes, for no apparant reason) they do 2 jobs though, not only do they work in any weather, they always look dope, and stay comfortable, specially for kicking someone in the face, thats why i like them

| | | Nah, I'm not in the military, wouldn't be caught dead in there either didn't mean to give that impression, they all just wear some damn good boots. I just keep hearin' that Doc Marten's aren't made like they were used to, so I don't feel like spendin' 150 on boots that are gonna fall apart.

| | | I say go military boots. The military isn't going to issue something that is gonna fall apart right away. They want their shit to be rugged. It HAS to be rugged.
