When you leave Love Forum

Nothing is forever.

Now assuming you don't just suddenly die and never show up here again..how do you think you will leave these forums? Especially for the current regulars. When I first came in the "regulars" I remember have since faded away or abruptly left or are now only sparingly on. I guess only raverboy, tooxshort, and Cybog remain of the ones I can recall as predating me. The rest of you who are here I tend to think of as coming in in the age of AN (after nomas).

My question is:

"How do you currently see yourself leaving the forum?" Will you write up an elaborate good bye and never come back? Will you write a good bye announcing you'll be phasing out slowly? Will you just leave without a word? Will you just phase out?

Also, do you see it happening in the horizon at all?

I don't see it happening any time soon.

However, I do see me having a lot less activity after I quit this job this August..but not leave it entirely..I don't see me leaving it altogether any time soon..if ever. It's too easy to just log in and browse around "real quick".

However..not being here daily makes it hard to keep up a discussion type of thread...then slowly you start not receiving the rewards for the effort of browsing around...then when those you knew start leaving for any of their own reasons you see no point in coming back.

Sad but true..chances are we'll all be strangers again some day.

I don't know how I will end up leaving. I guess one of two options. One: I will phase out slowly. Just come on less and less until I just don't come on any more. I really don't see that happening though. Not any time soon at least. Two: The site gets shut down or end and I just CAN'T come on here any more. lol Hopefully that doesn't happen any time soon either. This place is too cool for that.

I do not consider my-self a regular on here. I started more like a plague/disease that sort of got into the conversations. If I was going to leave for good I would at least in some created thread or some were in a post leave a hint. Most people still hate me on here. Its who I am though. If I left with out dying the regulars would probably know but not the guests or people who just visit once in a great while.

well i think in alot of way i have phased out but then i have come back.
I have a couple of reasons that i may not make it back
lets see life just gets busier and busier... soon i wont be here at my current job in which i am around a pc at all times soon i will be out on the field.
i do plan to have a family and bring a new baby into horizon which will take up alot of my time but then again while im siting at home i can jump on the pc.
To be honest i think that everytime i jump onto the net i might just stop by and check in see whats happening reply to something that may intrest me some.
As long as lf is around i will be too. How ofetn i just dont know.

I would never say goodbye because it really wouldnt be good bye for me ill be back

I've been a part of the teamxbox.com forums for...let's see...2001-2005...

So yeah, I don't post on there as often simply because it's a lot less personal with so many people there, (there are thousands). So with that said I don't intend on leaving anytime soon.

If I do. I'll most likely slowly make my way out while making a big announcement first and even then I'll come back every now and then.

Oh yeah, if I do happen to die, I'm gonna leave my contacts with my friend Jim Kelly. I gotta get around to doin' that...

Off topic...so you guys know I posted some 2 year old photos of me in the gallery...the "current" film I have yet to develop will get...developed...eventually...

Nomas~there are phases for everyone. And we had a damn great pack going last year. Now well, you know the story. You've gotten to know people from here and meet us. You've gotten to see first hand what are lives are like and we no longer have the time. I wish I did, but for now, my life is exactly where I want it to be, just that a life.

I dont think I'll ever put up an official goodbye thread. We've had that on here so many times and people return, so no letter for me. I will pop in to see whats going if any of my friends from 03 are around...wow. I do keep in touch with them and they will always remain great friends to me.
