Ever get the urge to sneeze when it is the WORST possible time to sneeze? Like in the middle of a wedding or in a meeting. Well, there IS a way to stop it! Thank goodness! If you catch it soon enough, there is a simple thing you can do to stop from sneezing. Just pinch the part of your hand between your thumb and pointer finger. There is a pressure point in there that will stop you from sneezing. If you feel a really strong one coming, squeeze both at the same time using the opposite hand. I just thought I would share. This is a great piece of information that I think could be useful to ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME. Yay for knowledge! lol

You know....now that I think about it ...so do I. I like the feeling after the sneeze...it feels so satisfying like you just sneezed half your problems in your life out of your mouth..then that feeling quickly fades after 2 seconds. Those double sneezes are awesome.

There is, however, a tried and true method. To stifle a sneeze, just open up your hand, spread your thumb away from the other four fingers, and press the side-edge of your pointer-finger directly underneath your nose.

I can't believe people don't know this!

When you press your hand under your nose, your probably rubbing or hitting the pressure point that rose is talking about.

I've never heard of this way.. I'm gonna try it. Something about pinching some part of your hand works for headaches, too.

The only way to stop a sneeze that I've heard about is looking up at a light and thinking about watermelon.

Needless to say.. it doesn't work

Hmmm. I've used that pt for helping tension headaches... mabye it affects the whole head.

Note: i usually think this stuff is total bullsh!t, except that pt really does work... probably just placebo, but still, it works...
