| | | Help me please, pregnant okay well im not pregnant, but my GF may be. I just graduated Highschool and im very scared. I have only had sex with her two times and she is on birth control and i used a condom the first time and the second time i pulled out before i ejaculated. This week she was spose to go on her period and she has not yet. And she wont test her self for another day , cuz shes scared to. So if she is pregnant im going to take responsibility and do my duty as being a father, but is there a way to somehow end the pregnancy if she is pregnant way before the actual fetus is made? Is there anything? if anyone knows please respond. Thx | | Loveforum Breaktime | | | | Loveforum also recommend - Green tea - Help in weight loss and decrease rate of getting cancer.

| | | Wait.
If she is pregnant, you're going to do your duty as a father and try to end the pregnancy before she's pregnant?
...
HAHAHAHAHA!
I love it when people put themselves in these situations.

| | | Whow! Scary!
There do exist little pregnancy-detecting-tools that you can buy and test on your gf's urine (if she is scared of having it done at a clinic or something).

| | | if she's on birth control, and you used a condom, and you pulled out, then she's probably late because girls her age sometimes are not normal. meaning their periods don't come every 28 days. | |

| | | You poor kid. If it turns out she is pregnant, I'd suggest a paternity test (unless she is really above reproach as far as her character goes) and that you might consider adoption for the baby. Neither of you is ready to be parent, and neither of you are likely ready to choose a spouse yet. Misombra is right, though. She may only be late. I really hope this works out for you. | |

| | I doubt very seriously your woman is pregnant. Its only been two times, and you used a condom and pulled out the second time...not only that but shes on BC. The odds of becoming pregnant with that are one in a million sweetie. I wouldnt even be thinking about that Shes late because shes nervous about it.
But, I think that you guys should really prepare if she is pregnant. You shouldnt give up this child for adoption. You both made the choice to be sexually active, so you must deal with the consequenses. It wont be easy, but you need to think of the child, and the child would much rather want some caring loving parents than a million dollar roof over their head with someone else. On the other hand if you, say, use drugs, and feel this child wouldnt have a decent home thats the point where you need to give it up.
Good luck to ya but I doubt shes pregnant

| | thx for the advice, helps, no im not trying to be a father and end the babys life now, i was saying if htere was a option to stop it from becoming a fetus, which there is and i found something. http://encarta.msn.com/encyclopedia_.../Abortion.html
there is a abortion u can use, that is pill form, which stops proestrogen from getting to the fetus, then 48 hours later you take a pill, that causes contractions of the uterus which expels the fetus. This however did not help me at all, if she is pregnant and i can get her to do to this, im going to live with this the rest of my life

| | | I think the "morning after pill" is only effective right away and prevents implantation of the embryo. I think if she is pregnant, it is probably too late. And I hate to be the one to point this out, but YOU don't really have much of a say about abortion being an option unless your state specifically states that paternal consent is required. In most places, it is the woman's right to decide whether or not to abort. Let's just hope you are on the same page about abortion as an option.
Another person on this board has given you bad info about adoption by suggesting that because you may/may not be pregnant, you ought to suck it up and keep the baby despite your young age. This sounds punitive to me, and all babies deserve to have responsible, mature, financially stable parents when they are born. I don't think most kids your age can offer that, and it is an act of love, generosity and selflessness that puts the babies needs above your own. (However, if you CAN offer the baby these things, that is a different story.)

| | | ody86- i know how you feel. i got pregnant when i was 19. i didn't want to go with abortion because i didn't want to go with the idea of killing a person. i have a son now and he's the greatest joy of my life, but there are so many things that I had to give up. I changed my major in college, and made so many other changes.
but think about this.. both of you have your lives ahead of you. there's so much more that you still have yet to accomplish. money, job, and other things..

| | | Yep! The morning after pill should be taken at the latest 72 hours (or is it 48?) after an intercourse. There is another method of chemical abortion called RU 486 that takes the place of the progesterone hormon and therefore it can't function correctly which causes a period (in other words an abortion if there is an embrion there). But that can only be done at a hospital by a specialist and it's an official form of abortion.
That said, I don't want to encourage people to abort so I really hope your gf isn't pregnant. Even if she is, abortion isn't the only solution. But Shh! does have a point with her second paragraph.
Best of luck! | |
