Well, how old is she? If she's still "young", you HAVE to buy a birthday card, not "a" birthday card, THE b-day card. It needs to represent your love or affection towards her, and you must write something in it, not just "happy b-day, i love you" Try to be a little poetic, if you can't think of anything then search online for some romantic ones. On top of that, either throw her a surprise party if you have the means for that, if not take her to an elegant restaurant, you know, a fancy one, and act like a total gentleman. Make her feel really special on that day, like she's the queen of the world.
P.S. Roses are a must.

Roses are not a must but flowers.. absolutely.. try and be orginal about it.. like.. dont bring her flowers that everyone may give her.. Give her something she can really remember you by and a must!! BE ROMANTIC!

ahh i agree with jane.

i find roses kinda tacky. everyone gets them, really not as sweet anymore.

if any man wants to get a girl flowers get original. mix the flowes up. and plus it's more thoughtful if you are the one doing in the deciding instead of "hey florist i need roses."
