what suprises me most, is that the ghetto urban culture is always associated with blacks

what the **** does race have to do with this?

i like LF, but if there is one thing that keeps me away from this forum - it's the ridiculous posts by a few individuals that i'm beginning to see

a load of crock if you ask me!

It's because a large percentage of blacks happen to live in the more impoverished areas, or "ghetto" areas. Not to mention many people in those areas who glorify the lifestyle don't try to go anything beyond that kind of lifestyle.

from my point of view, i believe a large majority of those people do glorify that type of lifestyle, but i have never been to the ghetto, i've never had to live in those conditions, I feel sorry for those innocent people living there that are shot in drive by shootings - i've seen various documentaries. Gangs, violence, etc. But that is how the culture is, i don't agree with it though.

We all have our own opinions. but our opinions are based on our own life experiences. Even if we say that our opinions are not bias - they always will be - you can never get around this.

Everybody here speaks in terms, and on the basis of their unique background - including those that actually live in the ghetto.

i enjoy a holistic outlook on life. although i'll never achieve it, and although we all are ethnocentric in some respects and to a certain degree, i'll do my best to see the other person's point of view.
