WHAT HAPPENS TO LOVE?
Couples date, say that they will be together forever and are just so close. Love each other so much that nothing could possibly take them apart at the time. But then, what happens? They break up, possibly even lose all their feeling toward that person.
Maybe it wasnt love? But maybe it was.
Why Im asking this question is that me and my girl are just really close and love each other really much, even after all kinds of stuff happened we are still together - But looking arround... Their needs and interests change over time, and they fall out of love (even though they may not hate each other), but by then they are married and have kids, pensions, houses, etc. so they are less likely to throw it all out. As said before, love does take work. Im starting to think love doesnt last forever. Then again, im sure my feelings will change when i find love again. | |

WHAT HAPPENS TO LOVE?
What a Powerful word! Love. I think this word has lost it's meaning. Today, the word is throw around freely, with lack of emotion. But to be in Love is a state of extcacy. I've never been in Love - it's too scary - I don't think I'm ready. But if it happens - I look foward to what Love can do in my life.
To answer you question, I believe NOTHING happens to love. I wrote on another thread, that 'LOVE JUST IS'.
If your interested, let me explain:
It is the force of nature of a river to flow toward an ocean or lake. It just is! In the same way, Love Just Is!
The water will never flow from the Lake or Ocean to the river - this is AGAINST the force of nature.
To sum up: Nothing Happens To Love. It Just Is. We exist, and around us, this force of nature (Love) exists aswell.
Do not expect to create love, or to break love. When love 'appears' to dissapear - or if it 'appears' between a couple, then that is natures way of unfolding.
For those of you chemists out there, entropy has a lot to do with it! lol!

So basically personally i figured that a love..that disappears was most probably not love..maybe it was attachment or lust or some combination of the two...but not "true love".
I believe when you really love someone, that love never goes away..maybe you grow apart from each other and the spark is lost and you feel that u've fallen out of love but deep inside you'll still love them...in that case all you need to do is reconnect and things go back to the way they were...
With the guy i'm dating...sometimes when i haven't seen him in a while i feel liek i'm growing apart from him...until i talk to him or see him and everything just comes back to me....
