| | | Maths My maths = Defies the laws of gravity. It sucks and blows at the same time. I'm just hopeless with it. I want to know, do you think being good at maths is a genetic thing or is it something you can improve on? thoughts appreciated.

| | | No, I mean like a more advanced student that tutors you. At the school I go to, there is an actual tutoring building, where you can go to get basic help with almost any subject. You should check with your school to see if they offer something, and if not, with your teacher. S/he probably has office hours during which time they are *supposed* to help students who need it.

I think math is mostly something we cannot change (im not going to say genetic), but it is in the way we think, how we get from A -> B. And while it may be hard to do, but i think you can get better at it, as vashti said get a tutor and it will be a piece of cake. | |

I got no problem with my other classes, I can get level 7 in all of them but Maths. It literally just does my head in.

I have no idea what IB Math Studies is, but I would guess it has to do with something about going into the depths of how complex math works, like functions and what have you. | |
