I need some help socializing this summer

Ok, I'm in a big city staying on my university campus, and I'm really lonely. Are there any places I could go to socialize, or just meet people? I'm not legal age yet, so no bars or clubs. There's a coffee shop across the street, but I don't know, I don't see myself striking up conversations unless I really force myself to.

Campus is pretty empty save for the few people I know from work.

Same situation. You say you're on campus, you mean the dorms? Leave your door open, say hi to people in the kitchen, etc...

I'm pretty sure he's 20. In the US drinking age is 21
