I think we should have faster methods of chatting, it would avoid whoring the forums like Converse and I do sometimes

Also, IRC channels are extremely fun and I'm a huge fan. If there's an issue about price, I can host it on my server. I have a 100 Mbps uplink, so speed isn't an issue.

There already was a chat thing at one point and it sucked because only one or two people where on the site at a time.

How many members did we have then compared to the amount of members we have now? Like I said, I'd be happy to host it...

Instead of having our own server, if the number of people participating is a problem, we can simply use another popular server. It'd help spread word even more about the forum too.

Again, like I said a few days ago when this exact thread came up, we HAD A CHAT ROOM ON THE OLD FORMAT which was never used. It sat empty most of the time. There is no reason to open another thread regarding the chat room....LA is well aware of your requests.
