Now, I understand LA, that we need ads to pay for the site. But DAMN, there's an ad every other post. It really makes me want to avoid the forums straight up. Please, please, PLEASE make them less intrusive.

I think potential members would be dissuaded when they see an ad-filled posts. Y'know, like one of those cheap websites with ads everywhere? Everything just feels like it's losing authenticity, like we're trying to sell stuff to people rather than actually help them.

I concur. It is a lot more difficult to navigate the forums.

They should be smaller (and possibly on the side)

I am not sure if you noticed, but at the bottom there is links to archived (what it seems to be) pages from the forum. It looks like a bug.

But on the other hand, loveforum is running a lot faster
